MUSI 1306 Concert Review Tips
. . .
- Be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes early to collect a program–sometimes they run out of programs!
- Write two things on the program–Your first and last name AND which concert review this is for you (e.g. “Concert Review #1).
- Turn in your review shortly after you’ve attended the concert (no more than a week later).
- Be sure to turn your program into Dr. Pool and your review into Bb. We need both to be able to give you a real grade.
- What if I get a grade of 1? You need to see one of us because your review is missing a program or there is a problem with the file (it doesn’t mean the review is failing).
- We encourage you to take notes during the performance using pen and paper (not on your phone).
- In your review, include a small detail about the performance to prove you were there.
- Paragraphs rather than bullet points
- You may write paragraphs in order of the questions asked
- Times New Roman, 12-point font, double spaced (standard academic paper formatting
